Alright gang, as we move forward on the project, I wanted to create a style resource page which represented our converging ideas, as well as the feedback received in class. I refined the logo and kept the same typography previously used. We will incorporate the ArtsBridge America banner/brand into our website in some capacity, but the College of Arts and Media should have their own urban logo to represent the program here. I drew from Jennifer's color palette to extend the previously specified university colors to include a shade of lighter green, which can be used as an accent. Additionally, I created a muted blue and beige to compliment our primary colors and extend our color palette to 6 colors, including the grey base color. Typography will be changed to the university sanctioned Verdana/Frutiger for text headings, and Times New Roman for paragraph font.
Additionally, I placed the key words which the dean shared with us onto this page, and we will draw upon these terms as we begin to create our content.
For monday, I think we should come prepared with some story boards or wireframes for the website navigation and motion graphics piece. Jennifer, why don't you map out a proposed wireframe board, and Yuting why don't you prepare for the motion piece. Additionally, we can draw from some of the verbage included in Michelle's proposals. I will bring those documents on Monday.
Have a good weekend and post your updates on the blog for feedback!
CHECK YOUR EMAIL BOX FOR AN AI FILE OF THE RESOURCE PAGE LISTED ABOVE, SO YOU CAN USE ANY OF THE ASSETS/COLORS ALREADY PROVIDED.
I think the palette looks great. I am a bit concerned about not trying to incorporate the
ReplyDeleteat least ArtsBridge cap A and cap B into the logo text. I think you can use your typeface, but maybe use the cap A and B.
Best,
Michelle
